* DESCRIPTION *
Get in touch with all your senses on the Volg Sensory trail. Listen, smell, see, & feel the different parts of the beautiful forest and fields. Placks along the trail help you to learn more about the impressive senses of our native animals. Why do squirrels use tactile hair and how do migratory birds orient themselves over thousands of kilometers? Where do snakes and lizards have an additional olfactory organ, and how sensitive are the ears of the lynx? Find out more about each of the 8 sensory stations here.
Hint: Cherry trees are bluming beautifully if you visit at the right time in April.
